Fashion retailer Jigsaw is launching an advertising campaign to promote its Autumn/Winter 2011 collection – media to include press, online, in-store, outdoor and partial takeover of Bond Street tube station – the heart of London’s fashion and luxury shopping district.
The campaign, created by Publicis London, is aiming to capture Jigsaw’s unique spirit of individuality, self-expression and craftsmanship.
Commented Des Swan, Jigsaw’s Chief Executive, “In commissioning our A/W advertising campaign our objective was to convey the spirit of Jigsaw by emphasising our integrity in the fine tailoring of noble fabrics. The versatility of our range allows our customers to express their own independent sophisticated style and we wanted to highlight that versatility to a younger audience. Publicis were a very creative and professional partner in bringing the brief to life.”
Said Karen Buchanan, Chief Executive Publicis London: “We wanted to celebrate the beauty of Jigsaw’s clothes and the independent spirit of the women who wear them. We aimed to breathe new life into this iconic brand by going back to the brand’s roots and everything that made Jigsaw stand out on the high street.”
Appointed by Jigsaw earlier this year, this is Publicis’s first work for the retailer. The appointment marked the first time that Jigsaw had worked with an advertising agency.
