Young wealthy investors favour Facebook over traditional advisors.

The global financial crisis spelled disaster for many investors – who therefore lost faith in their advisers. 

According to a Cisco survey, this trend is even stronger within the under-50’s who’ve grown cynical about wealth management. The survey shows that a third plan to leave their advisers in the next year.

Their trust has shifted from traditional financial advisors to social networking and investor communities.
